Four suspects who were accused of delivering weapons and explosive materials to ISIS on Wednesday appeared before Armed Forces Court in Puntland. The suspects were alleged that they have sent materials made from improvised explosive devices and drones in which Puntland security agencies intercepted in Galkayo in August last year.

Police investigations revealed that the materials made from explosions and drones were concealed in speakers in cartons. The suspects belonging to a transportation company dubbed Safari claimed that the materials were sent from Garowe.

They also argued that they did not have any knowledge what was in the cartons which was going to be transported to Mogadishu. The driver of the vehicle which was transporting the material told that one of the speakers caught on fire and saw smoke rising from the speaker.

He told that he immediately contacted the police and informed about the incident. He said that the materials were to be transported to Mogadishu and will be addressed to a local trader in Bakaara market in Mogadishu.

However, the suspects are believed that they have links with ISIS and that they are part of a network that delivers explosions to ISIS terrorist groups.
