Major General Kinfe Dagnew, former Director General of the state-owned Metals and Engineering Corporation (METEC), will appear in court today.
He was arrested yesterday on allegations of corruption.
The suspect was detained by the Special Force of Tigray regional state at Humera while attempting to flee to Sudan.
About 28 individuals, who were taken into custody by police on allegation of corruption, appeared in court last Monday.
The court adjourned the next hearing until November 26, 2018.
