Somalia’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Ahmed Fiqi, has unequivocally stated that the Somali Federal Gov’t rejects Trump’s controversial proposal to relocate Palestinians from Gaza.
He clearly said that Somalia is against any attempts to relocate non-Somalis to Somalia.
The FM emphasized the hardships faced by Palestinians, and further reaffirmed the support for Arab nation’s efforts to protect the Palestinian rights.
The statement from Somalia’s FM comes at a time when U.S. and Israel planned to relocate people living in the Gaza strip to Somalia.
The Somali gov’t has clearly stated its stance and does not support any plan to deprive the rights of Palestinians being displaced.
The Somali gov’t endorses the case of Palestinian and strongly condemns efforts that are aimed at depriving their rights to live in peace and prosperity in their homeland.
