Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki arrived in Cairo on Saturday, starting a visit to Egypt during which he will meet with several officials.
The meetings will tackle bilateral relations and the latest developments in Africa.
Afwerki’s visit to Egypt his fourth since President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi came to power.
He has visited Egypt more than 16 times since Eritrea’s independence in 1993.
