HARGESIA– A parliamentary delegation from Ethiopia arrived in Hargeisa, Somaliland’s capital on Sunday in an official visit that aims enhancing the relations between the two countries. The Ethiopian Parliamentary members paid a courtesy visit to Somaliland House of Representatives and upon arrival, the delegation was received by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Yasin Haji Mohamud alias Faraton, and was flanked by the two deputies. The visit represents a bridge between the people of Ethiopia and the people of Somaliland, and is an affirmation of the solid relations between the two nations. The visit is set to include a number of activities including meetings with Somaliland government officials to discuss fostering relations between the two countries and to exchange views on issues of common interest. Ethiopian parliamentary delegation is led by the spokesperson of Diri Dawa state parliament, MP’s, minister from Diri Dawa state and other MP’s from federal level.
