Danab Commandos, an elite Special operations force in the Somali National Army (SNA) carried out a planned operation in Baladul-Amiin settlement in Lower Shabelle province where the Somali troops inflicted heavy casualties on Al-Shabab militants.
Danab Commandos killed 21 Al-shabab fighters including a senior leaders who was in charge of the al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group for Baladul-Amiin settlement.
The planned operation was carefully conducted and was successful.
Operations targeting Al-Shabab militants are underway in South Central Somalia which are aimed to eradicate the terrorist group of Al-Shabab.
