The Commander of the Ground Forces of Somalia’s National Army (SNA), General Sahal Abdilahi Omar has embarked a visit to boost the moral of the local clan forces stationed in Nuur-Dugle in Middle Shabelle province.
The objective behind the visit embarked by the Commander was to resume the anti-terrorism operations which are aimed at eliminating Al-shabab remnants from the region.
Mr. Sahal urged the brave local clan forces to double their efforts when it comes to getting rid of Al-shabab militants from Hirshabelle provinces.
He pledged to support the local clan forces whatever they need including ammunitions.
Large scale anti-terrorism operations are currently underway in Middle Shabelle region whereby the Somali troops supported by local clan forces managed to kill Al-Shabab fighters including senior leaders.
