Reports from Middle Shabelle province confirm that large number of Ma’awisley local clan forces are en route to Alkawsar district.
The local clan forces are planning to launch an attack and liberate the district from the hands of the militant group of Al-Shabab.
Senior officers of Ma’awisley forces promised that the local clan forces will liberate the district from Al-Shabab within the coming hours.
Alkawsar is among one of the crucial districts in Middle Shabelle province which is under the control of the terrorist group.
Airstrikes and attacks were carried out inflicting heavy casualties on Al-Shabab militants.
The airstrike which was conducted last night resulted the death of senior Al-Shabab leader by the name of Ali Biyow Gaafow and his security guards.
He was well-known in Middle Shabelle province.
