The Ministries of Finance and Investment have jointly organized a meeting to discuss the draft of the industrial development policy.
The high profile meeting was attended by the outgoing Minister of Investment and Industry Development Hon. Abdilahi Abdirahman Aare, Minister of Finance Hon. Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire, Minister of Agricultural Development Hon. Abdiqadir Iman Warsame, Minister of Planning Dr. Ahmed Adan Buuhane, Minister of Animal Husbandry Hon. Said Sulub, Minister of Councils Hon. Mohamed H. Adam Ilmi, Minister of Trade Hon. Mohamud Hassan Saad (Saajint), Minister of Public Works Hon. Abdillahi Abokor Osman and the Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Awareness.
Others were the Chairman of the Industrial Association, the Director General of the Ministry of Investment and Industry Development Mr. Mohamed Osman Said, the Director General of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, several members of the House of Representatives, Industrialists and other several notable businessmen and the Advisor to the President on Economic Affairs.
All the various leaders who spoke at the meeting emphasized the importance and imperativeness of implementing the Country’s Industrial Development Policy, which is needed for its implementation.
The Ministry of Investment and Industrial Development has been working for some time on the implementation of the Investment Development Policy, noting that was grateful to all the stakeholders of the Industrial Development Policy for its participation.
