Somaliland confirmed on Wednesday eight new coronavirus cases, raising the total number of confirmed to 225.
Two patients have regained their health and defeated the virus, bringing the total recovery to 23.
The death toll now stands at 17.
8 of the newly confirmed cases, five are males while 3 are females.
The ages of the newly confirmed cases are in between their 20’s to 60’s.
The people who have confirmed to have contracted the virus live in Hargeisa.
