HARGEISA–US ambassador to Somalia, Donald Yamamoto, today has arrived in Hargeisa in his first official working visit to Somaliland. President Bihi has welcomed US ambassador and his accompanying delegation to the presidential palace. The cooperation between the US, SL, upcoming parliament & local council polls, convincing US firms to invest in the country, Horn of Africa security, and the flourishing democracy that Somaliland has embraced were among the top issues that were high on the agenda of the discussion between President Bihi and Mr. Donald Yamamoto. Mr. Donald is accompanied by Ms. Shella A. Billas, head of trade and economy of US embassy.
