The Incumbent Somaliland President has cleared the confusion if Somaliland govt has changed its mind on UAE military airbase in the port city of Berbera.
H.E Musa Bihi Abdi on Sunday has cleared the fog by saying that the agreement on the UAE military facility remains unaltered. The President made the statement while driveling a speech at Burao university graduation ceremony. Berbera airport has been changed for civilian use whilst the UAE military facility is under construction. Mr. Silanyo, the former national president of Somaliland entered into an agreement with the UAE by granting military base in the port city of Berbera.
