The US government is repatriating its nationals from Somalia on voluntary basis due to the fear of the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, a statement from US embassy said.
Those who are willing to leave Somalia can book a flight with Ethiopian airlines.
The embassy has warned there was no guarantee of a future flight.
The alert issued by the embassy comes amid increasing number of reported Covid-19 cases in Somalia. Somalia Covid-19 cases now stand to 997.
