The new Economy, Finance and Commerce Committee of the House of Representatives led by the chairman of the committee, Hon. Hussein Ismail Jama engaged in orientation meetings with the Treasury led by the Minister of Finance Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire, the Director General of the Ministry and other tp departmental officials.
The meeting was aimed at getting to know each other and how to promote cooperation between the two sides with more future meetings scheduled. The meeting ending in an atmosphere of mutual understanding.
On the other hand, a delegation led by the Deputy Finance Minister Hon. Suleiman Jama Diriye visited Amoud University.
The president of Amoud University Dr. Mohamed Muse Jibril flanked by his two vice presidents Prof. Ahmed Abdilahi Boqore and Prof. Mohamed Mohamoud Jama Dirie were at hand to welcome the delegation.
The university officials shared information about the various developments in the university in recent times.
