The Chief Justice has effectively suspended a Maid district magistrate.
A terse statement from Chief Justice Aden H Ali noted that magistrate in question, Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed, was hitherto suspended following several complaints received about him by Sanaag Regional Resident Appeal Court Judge.
Judge Adan who also is the Chairman of National Justice Council added that the said magistrate has also been found to be indulging illegally in politics.
There is elections campaign going on in the country in the meantime.
