The police headquarters have revealed that they have apprehended a suspected murderous policeman who is accused of killing a man, Mustafa Ibrahim Adan,33, in the city of Hargeisa less than sixteen hours after committing the crime.
The police also said that they similarly apprehended a co-accused who is believed to have abetted in the crime. They said that two more suspected people who were also in cahoots in the crime were still at large and are being pursued.
The killer cop constable Abdirahman Ibrahim Adan was apprehended around Awbarkhadle town on Tuesday barely sixteen hours after committing the crime that happened the previous night at around 8.20 pm.
The nabbed abetting suspect is Mohamed Bashe Musa.
Police headquarters commended the collaboration of the members of the public in seeing to it that security is upheld and urged them to step up the efforts even more.
The armed culprit having seen that he was outnumbered by his fellow security personnel, surrendered himself.
