HARGEISA— Chaired by President Musa Bihi Abdi, the meeting was held Thursday at the presidential palace. Thorny issues ranging from security, education, energy and minerals were high on the cabinet ministers meeting. The ministers of interior, education, energy and minerals briefed the council of ministers. First of all, interior minister, Hon. Mohamed Kahin Ahmed gave a report on how they achieved to bring peace between two brotherly clans that fought in Sool region. The council of ministers praised and said it was a well done job for the interior minister to end the inter clan fighting. Energy and Minerals minister, Hon. Jama Mohamud Egal also said that it is the right time for the country to extract its mineral resources.
