Hyena is reported to have mauled to death five people and injured two others in nearby districts in Aynabo.
The two who were injured were rushed to Buroa and were admitted into the hospital for treatment.
Most of those who have been mauled to death and those injured were old people.
Inhabitants were not sure of the animal that attacked was hyena.
The attacks were relentless according to residents in the districts nearby Aynabo.
