The Ministry of Agricultural Development has sent experts to fix and mend broken automatic weather station in major regions in Somaliland. The weather station instruments in Borama, Burao and Sheikh have been repaired by the experts that the ministry has dispatched to oversee the repairing broken instruments which have stopped working. Food Agriculture Organization (FAO) donated the instruments which made possible for all weather stations in major townships in Somaliland to be operational once again.
