The Somaliland representative to China, Hon. Awil Ibrahim Ali, has explained to Chinese based investors the investment opportunities that are available back home in Somaliland.
The head of SL liaison office has also briefed the investors that Somaliland is an oasis of peace where its armed forces have ensured that peace and security is maintained.
The SL representative has paid a courtesy call to Shandong, a region in the east of China which is a home to more than 99.47 million.
He met with investors who are keen to invest in Africa. Mr. Awil also gave an interview to Shandong television which he further explained on the untapped resources in Somaliland and investment chances that need to be exploited.
The representative also said in the interview that former Somalian Prime Minister, the late Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal voted for Chinese people to have their seat in the United Nations.
