GAROWE– Puntland President, Said Abdilahi Deni, today received a large delegation consisting of ambassadors from UAE, Sweden, UK, Germany, Sudan, Egypt, Qatar and EU special envoy. The meeting took place at the presidential palace.
The mission of high level delegation compromising the ambassadors based in Somalia was meant to congratulate the newly inaugurated president of Puntland, Deni and wish him well in his tenure as he starts discharging his national duties.
The ambassadors courtesy call to the president was also intended to get to know each other and start having closing working relations. President Deni has put forward his short and long term plans intended to develop the state. The high level ambassadors based in Somalia attended the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected president.
Mr. Deni thanked the visit paid by the ambassadors.
