The two chambers of SL Parliament will attend an extraordinary meeting whereby SL President H.E Musa Bihi Abdi will deliver annual state of the nation address on Monday. The Speaker of the House of Guurti, Honorable Sulieman Mohmud Adan, has summoned all members of the two Chambers of SL parliament to the meeting which is scheduled to take place on March 8th. The Speaker has informed all members to be in compliance to a request from the head of state for opportunity to undertake his annual address to parliament. The two Chambers of SL Parliament- Guurti and the House of Representatives hears an annual address from the President. The president’s address to the joint houses will touch issues concerning the upcoming parliament and local council elections, droughts, and the resurgence of the Coronavirus pandemic.
