HARGEISA– Somaliland’s ministry of religious endowment has informed and congratulated on its citizens that Hajj services are due to start today. A statement released by the ministry has clearly stated that there were problems on getting Hajj visa last month. Many citizens from Somaliland expressed their concern and worry by not travelling to Saudi Arabia in order to perform Hajj. The ministry of religious affairs and endowment in Somaliland believe that Hajj is one of the pillars of Islamic religion and there is no need to politicize it and refrained from answering statements from lawmakers and Imams which aired via the media outlets The ministry hopes that all the prayers of Hajj performers from Somaliland will be accepted by the Almighty Allah.
