The Ministry of Agriculture yesterday received a brand new vehicle donated by FAO. The Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Roble Abdi Muse received the car keys from FAO officials during the handover ceremony held at the agriculture ministry building. While receiving the car, Honorable. Roble Abdi Muse, thanked FAO for the donation. Mr. Roble reiterated that the ministry of agriculture and FAO have close working relations. He also underscored that FAO plays a crucial role in the fight against the infestation of desert locust which is a menace to many regions of Somaliland. This is the ninth vehicle that FAO donated to Somaliland to help the fight against desert locust in Somaliland. The vehicle will be of a great use when it comes to intensifying the ongoing combat against desert locusts across the country. The donation of the vehicle comes just in hot heels 6 brand new vehicles mounted with sprayers that FAO donated to Somaliland to help in the fight against locust infestation in Somaliland.
