A high level delegation from the United Arab Emirates headed by the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon, Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan on Wednesday arrived in Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital.
The Minister is accompanied by senior officers and diplomats.
The visit embarked by UAE minister is aimed at improving the strained relations between the UAE and Somalia.
The delegation met and held high level discussions with Somalia’s President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The two sides discussed fulfilling the promises the UAE made for Somalia’s President during his visit to Abu Dhabi.
