Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed held a high level meeting with the Commander of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), General Michael Langley in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian capital.
The two sides discussed issues that are mutual interests to both countries as well as the region and the Horn of Africa.
The Ethiopian Prime Minister said that today he welcomed to Addis Ababa General Michael Langley, the Commander of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM).
He told that they discussed issues relating to the Horn of Africa and the region.
The Ethiopian Gov’t has not provided details of the meeting which comes at a time when the U.S. has increased airstrikes and operations against ISIS and Al-Shabab in Somalia.
