Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed has returned to Addis Ababa on Monday after wrapping a visit to Djibouti as he attended the high level consultative meeting between Somalia and Somaliland.
The consultative meeting between the two sides was hosted by President Ismail Omar Guelleh.
The meeting follows in continuation of the talks facilitated by PM Abiy Ahmed in Addis Ababa in February this year.
President Ismail Omar Guelleh, Somalia President Mohamed Abdilahi Farmajo, president of Somaliland, Musa Bihi and IGAD chairman, Workeneh Gebeyehu attended the meeting besides the Ethiopian PM.
Abiy Ahmed reiterated that the Horn could realize prosperity if there is peace and cooperation between countries in the region.
