ADDIS ABABA–Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed arrived in Beijing, China to attend the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), scheduled to begin on Monday.
The Premier is expected to discuss with Chinese President and Premier Xi Jinping and Li Keqian, respectively, on the sidelines of the Forum.
China is Ethiopia’s largest trading partner and source of the largest foreign direct investment (FDI).
This year’s Beijing FOCAC summit is themed as win-win cooperation and joining hands to build a closer community with a shared future for China and Africa.
Founded 18 years ago, FOCAC serves as the key platform for the collective dialogue and cooperation between China and African countries.
