Ethiopian FM meet with his Eritrea and Djibouti Counterparts

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Dr Workneh Gebeyehu who has led Ethiopia delegation to #UNGA73 held discussion with Eritrea and Djibouti counterparts on issues pertinent to strengthening trilateral peace, friendship and cooperation between and among the sisterly neighboring countries in the premise of Ethiopian Permanent Mission in New York.

The Minister reiterated that Ethiopia through peaceful power transfer established a genuine and a reformist change oriented government strives to address citizens expectations, needs and aspiration to democracy, rule of law, political, economic and societal equality and justice to flourish in Ethiopia. In light of this, the government undertook deep and penetrating reform measures to address thrust to democracy, governance and human rights which are championed by forgiveness and reconciliation ideology of Dr. Abiy Ahmed, PM of FDRE that helps to strengthen the solidarity and unity of Ethiopia than ever.
The Minister underscored that this message is not only confined to Ethiopia but it also expand beyond the border and affected the Horn of Africa peace and stability landscape get international support and appreciation for normalization and rapprochement reached in this region.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Eritrea and Djibouti reaffirms their collaboration to advance the whirlwind of peace and cooperation , work closely together on regional, continental and international arena to take the recent gain to a higher level and ensure economic integration.
The two Ministers congratulated H.E. Dr. Workneh for his timely and appropriate remarks at #UNGA73 debate that promotes regional peace, stability and cooperation.
