Cairo, April 21, 2019 — Hosted by the Arab League in Cairo, Arab foreign ministers wrapped up an extraordinary meeting, presided over by Somalia’s foreign minister Ahmed Isa Awad and attended by Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas and Arab League Secretary General Dr. Ahmed Abulghait.
Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Gattan, Minister of State for African Countries at the foreign ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Araba, led his country’s delegation to the meeting.
The meeting discussed the latest developments regarding the Palestinian issue, particularly press reports on what is called the “Century’s Deal”.
President Abbas briefed the ministers on the dangerous plots aiming in the coming period to put an end to the Palestinian cause.
