VP Cuts the ribbon of newly renovated Buroa Technical School

The Vice President of Somaliland, H.E Mohamed Ali Aw-Abdi yesterday attended a ceremony in which he cut the ribbon of newly renovated Buroa Technical School.

He also paid an inspection tour to the various departments of the technical school.

The VP delivered a speech at the ceremony and spoke in length the value of technical education for the public.

He said: “Buroa Technical School has a particular memory for me. During my school years, my classmates joined the technical school. As soon as they finished, they started working. Therefore, Technical education has a great value.”

On the other hand, the VP told that the administration dubbed “Togetherness and Action” is committed to improve the quality of technical schools in Somaliland.

He said: “As the current government, we are ready to encourage technical schools in the country.”

Finally, he said that the last ceremony of the nationalization of clan militias will be held in Buroa.

He said: “Buroa local residents, I congratulate on you that the last ceremony where the nationalization of clan militias will be held in Buroa. It is the biggest project that is underway in the country.”
