Mogadishu-A high-level delegation from Turkey arrived in Mogadishu on Tuesday for an official working visit. The delegation was greeted at Adden Adde International Airport by the State Minister of Ports and Maritime Transport, Hon. Mohamed Abdulkadir Dhule, and other Somali government officials. Led by Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Durmus Unuvar, the Turkish delegation aims to strengthen the brotherly and friendly ties between the two countries. The State Minister of Ports and Maritime Transport expressed gratitude for the visit and reiterated its importance in forging close working ties between the two sides. He emphasized that cooperation between Turkey and Somalia will greatly enhance ports, develop maritime services, and strengthen strategic projects related to maritime transport. During their visit, the delegation will hold high-level meetings with senior officials from the Ministry of Ports and Maritime Transport of Somalia, focusing on strengthening strategic cooperation and developing infrastructure for ports.
