The Somali National Army (SNA), in collaboration with international partners, conducted an airstrike targeting Al-Shabab members who were planting a landmine on the road linking Masaajid Ali Guduud and Daaru Salaam settlements in Middle Shabelle province. The operation specifically targeted members of Al-Shabab who were planning to commit atrocities against the Somali population traveling on this road. The airstrike successfully eliminated 15 Al-Shabab members and destroyed the vehicle they were using to plant the landmine, along with the weapons inside.
