The Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, received a delegation of military officials visiting Somalia at his office today, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Somalia, Mr. Mohamed Salah Keshtah.
 The meeting focused on strengthening relations and cooperation between the two nations, with both sides exchanging views on matters of mutual interest and the advancement of collaboration in the defense and security sectors. Minister Ahmed Moallim Fiqi commended the Egyptian government’s support for safeguarding Somalia’s sovereignty and unity, as well as its backing of Somalia’s efforts to combat terrorism and rebuild the Somali National Army.
