HARGEISA– the new information minister, Mr. Mohamed Muse Derie formally assumed his duties in replacement of the former minister, Mr. Abdirahman Guri Barwako yesterday. The assistant information minister,Mr. Abdinasir Omar Jama and the Director General, Mr. Mukhtar Mohamed Ali assumed their duties in handing over ceremony held at the information ministry premises. The current information minister, Mr. Mohamed Muse said that he got a lot of experience for the information ministry having served as the director general of state’s only national television. He pledged that in collaboration with ministry staffers that he would invest a lot of time in the State media production. The president made mini reshuffle in to his government which saw the sacking of information minister with the defense ministers who are accused of committing widespread graft.
