Somaliland Covid-19 has jumped to 54 after 6 more people have tested positive for the disease in the last 24 hrs, health ministry said on Wednesday. The health ministry said 4 cases are confirmed in Hargeisa and 2 cases in Burao. There is no death that is reported in Somaliland for the past 24 hours. The total number of people to have fully recovered from Covid-19 is 7. The death toll stands at 5. The government of Somaliland has taken strict preventive measures which were aimed at preventing the spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic. The government is concerned all the public turns a deaf ear on the guidelines provided by the ministry of health. Community transmission of Covid-19 is the agent that is spraeding the virus in Somaliland. It is projected that the cases of Covid-19 is likely to rise as the country commences local testing.
