Dubai– The President of Somaliland H.E Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Irro on Wednesday met with UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai, 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐤𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐦, on the side lines of World Governments summit which is underway in Dubai for its second day running.
At the same time, Somaliland President conferred and held high level talks with Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who is the deputy president, deputy prime minister and the minister responsible for presidency.
President Irro expressed deep thanks and appreciation to the UAE gov’t for extending an official invitation to attend the high level World Governments Summit.
During the meeting, Irro discussed with UAE officials of number of important issues ranging from economic cooperation, investments and cooperation on regional stability.
Irro reached a common understanding with UAE officials to fully cooperate on the areas of security and the stability of Bab el Mandeb strait and the Read Sea.
