Somaliland’s Police Commissioner Brigadier General Abdirahman Abdilahi Hassan alias Abdi Dheere, leading a delegation consisting of top brass police officers, is currently on working tour to the United Kingdom.
The delegation is accompanied by officials from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCO).
The objective behind the visit that the Somaliland Police Commissioner traveled to the UK is to strengthen and enhance the working cooperation between Somaliland Police and UK’s FCO.
Somaliland’s Police Commissioner met and held high level discussions with senior UK police officers.
The Police Commissioner also met in Cardiff with top police officers in South Wales.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance the working cooperation between the two sides.
Implementing the policies of the incumbent Somaliland President to enhance Somaliland’s police capacity, the Police Commissioner discussed with UK police officers to increase the trainings given to Somaliland Police.
Mr. Abdi Dheere also met with Somaliland community residing in Cardiff and London.
He discussed ways to play a key role in the development of the country.
