Brigadier General Abdirahman Abdillahi Hassan, Commander of the Somaliland Republic Police Force, has returned to the country after an official working visit to the United Kingdom.
The police chief, who led a high-level delegation of senior officers, was warmly welcomed upon arrival at Hargeisa International Airport by the First Deputy Commander of the Somaliland Police and other top officials.
During his stay in the UK, General Abdirahman held crucial meetings with British police leaders and senior officers, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation, joint operations, and enhancing security partnership between Somaliland and the United Kingdom. Particular emphasis was placed on advancing police training programs and modern security strategies.
The delegation also toured various British police commands and units, where they observed advanced working methods, modern systems, and best practices in maintaining law and order.
Additionally, the Somaliland Police Commander met with the Somaliland diaspora community in the UK, exchanging updates on the country’s overall security situation and ongoing development progress.
