The Minister of Finance and Economic Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Abdillahi Hassan Aden, alongside Deputy Minister Ismail Mawlid Abdillahi and Director General Mohamed Hassan Salebaan, inaugurated a significant operational meeting dedicated to finalizing and approving the Ministry’s 2026 work plan.
The gathering focused on endorsing the detailed operational strategy that will guide the ministry’s activities throughout 2026. Representatives from various departments presented their individual 2026 plans, highlighting key objectives, priority tasks, and performance measurement indicators.
Discussions also examined the plans’ contributions to boosting revenue collection, strengthening the financial system, and advancing results-based management practices.
In his closing remarks, Minister Aden stressed the critical need for unified implementation of the 2026 work plan across all departments, emphasizing coordinated efforts, inter-departmental collaboration, and a commitment to systematic planning, monitoring, and continuous evaluation.
