The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Somali National Army (SNA) General Sahal Abdullahi Omar on Friday embarked on an inspection tour to the frontlines in Middle Shabelle province including Masaajid Ali Guduud settlement in which the Somali troops dislodged Al-Shabab fighters from the settlement a couple of days ago.
The inspection visit that the Ground Forces Commander embarked comes at a time when the brave Somali troops reached victories in recent days in regard to the war with Al-Shabab in which heavy defeat was inflicted upon them and several settlements were liberated from them.
He lauded the Somali National Army (SNA) who are stationed in the frontlines for discharging their national duties. He urged them to double their efforts pertaining to the war until the terrorist groups will be eradicated who commit atrocities against the Somali populace. He pointed out that the victories reached represent the competence and the unwavering efforts of the Somali National Army (SNA). He called on the Somali populace to continue the brave Somali troops in regard to the defense of the country and the people.
