The incumbent Somaliland President H.E Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi alias Irro has called on the situation of Gaza to be resolved by diplomatic means before taking a knee jerk decisions. Irro made the remarks in an interview with Sky News Arabia, an in response to a question of Trump’s plans to relocate Palestinians to Somaliland, he said that the the United States has not sent an official letter pertaining to the relocation of Palestinians. He said that Somaliland is committed to have good relations with the US in order to get military aid as well as a diplomatic one. He added that Somaliland has not made consultations with the US regarding the Palestinian relocation. Irro staunchly supported the rights of Palestinians. He stated clearly diplomacy must be given a chance regarding the Gaza issues. He called on the Gaza situation be resolved by a joint decision from the Arab countries. He further noted that Somaliland has good ties with number of Arab countries. He announced that Somaliland is committed to play a huge role on the issues facing the region. Somaliland President Abdirahman Irro is currently attending the World Governments Summit which took place in Dubai, said that Somaliland is in the right track to develop its economy. Finally, he reiterated that Somaliland remains ready to consolidate ties with the Arab countries and the world.
