Over 1,000 Armed OLF Members Enter Rehabilitation Camps

Addis Ababa, February 13, 2019 (FBC) –More than 1,000 armed members of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) have entered rehabilitation camps.

They are currently receiving training in camps located in the Oromia regional state, including in Tolay military camp, according to the Oromia Broadcasting Corporate (OBN).

The trainees told OBN that they chose to engage in a peaceful struggle because armed struggle has no benefit for the people.

They further called on others armed members of the Front to lay down arms and follow peaceful way.

The soldiers highlighted the need for teamwork to uphold the ongoing nationwide reform.

The training being given to the soldiers is mainly focused on constitutional order, federalism and on the nationwide reform.
