NISA Director travels to the Lower Shabelle region to boost the morale of troops stationed in Dhanaane.

The Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), Mr. Mahad Mohamed Salaad, attended an iftar – the evening meal for breaking the fast – with the Somali National Army (SNA) on Wednesday. The SNA is stationed in Dhanaane settlement in the Lower Shabelle region, where Mr. Salaad conducted an inspection visit to boost the morale of the troops involved in operations against terrorist groups. He expressed gratitude for their efforts and bravery during the holy month of Ramadan, as well as for their role in maintaining the security of the capital and nearby settlements. The Director praised the dedication of the armed forces, who continue to fast and work tirelessly day and night to liberate the country and ensure overall security. He also acknowledged that their alertness and vigilance have allowed the Somali people to carry out their worship duties. Mr. Salaad emphasized that the national army is the pillar that protects the existence and integrity of the nation, and therefore deserves respect and constant support to strengthen security and stability.
