A man who is Moroccan by nationality named Khalid Abu Ciza, has contacted Puntland Police force, and is looking for his son who went missing after he travelled to Ethiopia.
According to the father, the son unexpectedly left from Morocco without the consent of his parents.
Subsequently, he contacted his family back in Morocco on the 13th of Sept. 2024.
This was disclosed by Puntland Police Force in a press statement.
The statement from Puntland Police Force went on to say that a video the son recorded about himself and sent to his parents showed that he was staying in a hotel, but what happened remains unclear in the aftermath of his travel after he left Ethiopia.
The father of the son, Khalid Abu Ciza has told Puntland Police Force that his son departed Morocco on the 28th of July, 2024 without the consent of his parents.
He joined the terrorist group of ISIS that is fighting in the Al-Miskaad Mountain Range in Bari region.
All his documents were confiscated.
Puntland Police press statement added that the police force are currently investigating the matter, and requested from the public to extend a helping hand to discover an information that would lead to the find the missing son.
