Kenya’s Ministry of Health has ordered the closure of Nairobi’s Eastleigh Market indefinitely on Saturday.
The Ministry of Health cited that the market could be a hot-spot for the deadly spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
Police dispersed business traders and ordered the immediate shut down of all shops and malls in the estate.
Kenya’s Minister of Health, Mutahi Kagwe announced on Friday 12 new Covid-19 cases and two were from Eastleigh.
