The Minister of the Interior Hon. Mohamed Kahin Ahmed honored MP Sir Gavin Williamson for his efforts as a great friend and campaigner for the cause and independence of the Republic of Somaliland.
The minister awarded Sir Gavin a certificate appreciation to his efforts for the country during a banquette laid to his honour in Hargeisa on Tuesday.
Hon. Kahin also briefed the MP on the general security of the Republic of Somaliland and the progress in the country, while thanking him for his efforts to stand by Somaliland and taking forth the aspirations issues of Somaliland before the British Parliament, tabling a motion on recognition.
The banquette in honour of MP Caving Williamson was also graced by the attendance of the Minister of Defense Abdiqani Mohamud Aateye Farid, the Minister of Communications and Technology Dr. Abdiweli Sheikh Abdillahi, Livestock Development minister Hon Said Sulub, Public Works and Housing minister Hon Mustafa Ali Bile, some of the Commanders of the Armed Forces, the Director General of the Ministry of Interior Mr. Mohamed Yusuf Ismail, the Somaliland Ambassador to the United Kingdom Abdi Abdillahi Hirsi, amongst other invited guests.
