The Puntland Defense Forces have killed two members of the terrorist group Al-Shabaab who were hiding in the Cal Madow mountain range in the Bari region, specifically in the vicinity of the Galgala area.
Puntland security agencies confirmed that, during a planned operation, the forces shot and killed these two individuals—the same men who, just yesterday, had planted a landmine on the road leading to Galgala; the resulting explosion injured five people, most of whom were security personnel.
The forces neutralized the two individuals as they were attempting to plant another landmine. All the equipment they were carrying was seized, as shown in footage released by the military’s media outlets, which confirms the success of the planned operation.
