Former Hisrshabelle regional President, Ali Abdilahi Osoble, has called on politicians and the Somali populace not to politicize the ongoing fight against the terrorist groups of Al-Shabab and Daesh which is underway in the country.
He pointed out that the ongoing war is led by incumbent Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Puntland Regional President Saed Abdilahi Deni.
He urged the Somali populace as well as politicians to unite when it comes to the ongoing anti-terrorism operations which are aimed at eliminating the threats posed by Al-Qaeda affiliated terrorist groups of Al-Shabab and Deash.
He sent a clear message to the Federal State leaders. He called on them to emulate the leadership of incumbent Somali President and Saed Deni of Puntland who are exerting their efforts when it comes to the liberation of the country from terrorist organizations.
Mr. Osoble said: ” Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Sead Deni dressed military uniforms and went to the frontlines. The other regional leaders must go to the frontlines. We must unite and join the war. Both the ruling and the opposition have a duty. The country is in a state of war and we must unite against the enemy.
The remarks made by former Hirshabelle regional president comes at a time when the Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud spent the second night running in the frontlines to oversee the resumption of the anti-terrorism operations which are underway in Hirshabelle state.
