The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Hassan Mohamed Ali (Nadaara), today received a copy of the credentials of the newly appointed European Union Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Laszlo Mathe, as well as the letter of recall for his predecessor.
The Deputy Minister thanked the European Union for its continuous support to the Somali government and for its steadfast backing of the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
Minister Nadaara also expressed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ readiness to collaborate with the newly appointed Ambassador, Mr. Mathe, to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the areas of peace and security, governance, trade, and development.
